I've been lurking about here for ages. So hello! and sorry for being a quet little mouse.
I also have no friends who like laughing at things, but am coming to both shows.
Would like to meet up before too, we could be like the womens institute and make jam and sloe gin to swap!
Will contribute to forum more in the coming weeks, promise.

I could make a delicious platter of cheese and pineapple cocktail sticks. Though I'd probably eat them all on the train journey. It is 40 minutes, after all.
And I'm a mouse too, Rusty. This is the first time I've posted for WEEKS, and I am doing so because I feel a sort of affinity to you and your mouseyness. Like, we're blood brothers. I think we'll probably be best friends soon, actually. Maybe we can make our own thread and only we are allowed, and maybe other mice if they reveal themselves. And we can swap recipies! Discuss a book we've read! Top ten albums!

I'm desperately trying to get myself a job so I can justify the train fare and ticket price for one if not both shows. If I get one (I am waiting on the results of two interviews) then I also will be up for meeting in a posse style.

its kinda gonna be my first time, ive met Ray a couple of times but never Ed and ive never seen either of them do a gig. as a matter of fact it'll be my first comedy gig.

Hello. I'm sorry for not checking in with this lately. I've been all kinds of ill, boo hoo etc. I'm still keen on this if other people are. I think the only thing we're lacking is a pub somewhere between King's Cross Station and Kings Place. As Ray has said, it's a short walk from one to the other, so all we need is a pub in between in which we could meet. Does anyone have a suggestion?

There's plenty of choice. An online search mentions The Lincoln Lounge, The Ruby Lounge and King Charles I as three closest pubs (though others are like an extra 0 seconds away). Anyone have a preference or know them at all?

The old Rustler is still up for coming out to play (tickets are pinned to the kitchen noticeboard for both dates). What do you say that in the first couple of weeks of Feb, we take a big fat roll call, pick a venue (I remember the Ruby Lounge as being quite nice) and finalise the arrangements? That gives everyone another pay day to confirm that they can get their tickets.

Loads of pubs round there and there is also a bar at the venue which is posh. That is where we will let you meet us after and have your photo taken even if you are in a rush and really need to get back for the train...

I was sitting at my kitchen table and listening to some old Ray Peacock podcasts to get me in the mood for the Emergency Broadcast, and they were reading out from Raji's fan page. They mentioned his birthday, February 24th. As I heard this, my eyes glanced over to the Emergency Broadcast ticket, which takes pride of place next to some books on the same table. It said February 24th. Being of keen mind, I noticed that this happens to be the same day. I know that the gig has nothing to do with Raji, being the Peacock and Gamble podcast, but it gave me a pleasing sense of completion knowing this, and I decided to share this with the group.
How would Ray and Ed feel about performing the new show in Derby? I know you've performed here before at least once because I saw you do it. Did you like it? If you did and want to do it again, I'd be happy to have a word with the Students' Union.

OK Chaps, time for Roll Call as promised! Do we want to continue with this thread, or have a bright spanking new one fo the forum meet-up before the Feb 24th show.
By all mean jot you names down here for now. if we decide to have a new thread later I'll carry the list over to the new one.
