Really sad to see the podcast coming to an end, but also very excited about Thursdays Kings Place show now also being a podcast recording. I'm glad that the final live podcasts are going to be released online, too. If it has to come to an end, that seems like a good way of doing it.
Gutted that the November show sold so poorly, but I assure you that if I weren't busy that day, that 1 ticket sold would've been at least 2 or 3... probably still not enough to keep the gig, I suppose. I can't make it to the December show either, which I'm gutted about, but hopefully everyone else gets off their arses and sells that show out. You guys deserve it, and they'd be mental to miss the final podcast.

It's a proper shame about the November show - whose decision was it to pull? I had every intention of coming along, but am always hesitant to commit so far ahead of time (I've only just bought Thursday's ticket). Was it not worth waiting a little while longer to see if this was the case for everyone else? Sorry for not buying sooner; this is sad news indeed.

Episode 82 has not come up on iTunes yet (at least over here it hasn't) and the Chortle website download link for it really gives you episode 81 again. It's okay though, I'm having fun reliving the whole thing: currently on episode 29. Don't forget, Ed drinks full-fat Coke out of a tramp's ass.

I found it on Chortle, but it's still not on iTunes, at least over here. Gonna give it a listen while I make some chili. Thanks for the podcast! Very, very sad to see it go as well!

Listening to it now: awesome show! Quick question, Ray. What is the theme you always do when talking about something sad? You did it in this one and even said what it was, but I can't tell what you're saying. It sounds like "Archie" or "The Archers," but I know it's neither (they're both much more chipper).

Dylan, it is the theme from "Our Tune" - an old Simon Bates radio feature where he would read a sad story and everyone would do a cry.

Awesome! Thanks, masonreloaded. My quest to learn everything in British popular culture continues.

Episode 82 doesn't seem to download automatically from iTunes if you've subscribed to the podcast (in the US anyway), but it's on the episode list if you check out the podcast's iTunes page. I'm downloading it now.
